About the Artist

Shih-Han Huang is a Taiwan-based artist and designer toy creator working across painting, sculpture, and contemporary pop art. Best known for her “cats in disguise” characters, her practice draws on childhood memories and emotional healing, using soft brushstrokes and rounded forms to create a gentle visual language of comfort, resilience, and quiet rebellion.

Who is Han Han and why did we make this?

Artist Han Han creates many different creatures, but they are all one cat pretending to live different lives.

We collaborated with artist Han Han to create Monster Han Han — a big, fluffy version of her cat character — to remind us that courage often begins with pretending to be a little braver than we feel.

Meet the artist

Han Han (Taiwan) is a rising contemporary artist recognized for her soft, pastel-driven characters inspired by cats and everyday emotion.

She has exhibited in major regional fairs such as KIAF Seoul, Art Taipei, and Design Festa Tokyo, and her work has been collected across Asia. Han Han is celebrated for her delicate fusion of illustration, sculpture, and intimate storytelling.
