Love is the sum of its experiences, from soft beginnings to sharp turns and late night doubts, each leaving a different aftertaste. Taste of Love is a five piece Hanhan mini sculpture series that gathers these states of love into art you can live with and keep close.
Sweet · “For You”
Sweet is the quiet, everyday kind of love, the moments you don’t post about but remember the most. Hanhan makes a favorite donut for the person they love most, a small gesture that says more than any big surprise.
Bitter · “I’m Fine”
Bitter is the aftertaste of love, part ache and part proof it once existed. Hanhan keeps those fragments close, carrying “I’m fine” through the days until, almost without noticing, it begins to feel real.
Spicy · “In Love”
Spicy is the peak of infatuation, when passion is high and everything seems to circle back to one person. In this moment, Hanhan is completely swept up, the world turning rose tinted as every glance, touch and laugh feels electric, like sparks flying in a room that exists only for two.
Sour · “Boyfriend”
Sour is wanting to be loved well and choosing not to rush into “almost right.”
Hanhan sews a teddy named Boyfriend to keep that space warm for now, a soft companion that makes them smile while they take their time.
Umami · “Shot at Love”
Cupid is the taste of serendipity, the part of love you can never plan. With bow in hand, Hanhan sends out their quiet well wishes that a random dinner, wrong turn or last minute yes might be the moment two paths unexpectedly cross.
